Since its beginnings in 1989, SUBIOS, Seychelles� Underwater Film and Image Festival has done much to raise the profile of the country�s magnificent underwater world and marine environment, not only among the local population, but also a number of foreign film makers, photographers and conservationists. Now under the management of the newly formed Seychelles Tourism Board, SUBIOS 2006 is benefiting from a reappraisal of its objectives, its format and the various ways that it communicates with its audiences both at home and abroad.
