Last year, we brought you the work of Christy Lee Rogers, a photographer who uses light refraction photography to turn underwater models into Baroque-esque paintings.
Christy has just announced a new collection of these unique images, called Elan, which will be included at a special exhibit at Grand Théâtre d’Angers of the Angers Nantes Opéra House in France. The exhibit kicks off September 18th and features dozens of images that look surprisingly like paintings.
“I feel like a magician, except I’m not trying to trick or fool people but to open their minds to something that’s not always visible to the eye,” said Christy in the special feature on DPG last year.
For more info, check out Christy’s website. And of course, take a quick look at how she makes the magic happen.
