Details are now emerging about the impending announcement of the GoPro HERO 4. The latest incarnation of the HERO is expected to feature a far faster Cortex-A9 chip that will allow the camera to process 4K-resolution video at 30 frames per second.
Other neat features will include electronic image stabilization, a remote viewfinder, and playback ability and full WiFi connectivity. The exciting specs also come with a later-than-expected shipping date: October. This still means there’s a chance we will get a preview of the HERO 4 at Photokina next month.
The camera will have a retail price of $400.
